Transfer Lines

For medium and large series production complete transfer lines would usually be the most cost-effective solution. Such a production line normally consists of 3-5 machine units, but may involve as many as 10-12 stations including rotary swaging and axial forming but also turning, threading, hole drilling, punching, milling, quality control, cleaning, packaging etc. All stations are bound together with proper transfer systems. The actual transfer layout depends on the part to be made.

Felss transfer line systems would ensure very high production efficiency, typically the manufacture of a new part every 8-15 seconds depending on the actual layout. In most cases, the transfer line can be adopted to other parts as long as certain size conditions are observed.
