The STRECON Product Range

The STRECON^® stripwound containers come as customized container designs and as three (3) standard system sizes (i.e. ½’’, ¾’’, and 1’’ cell size systems, see the subpage for additional information). The standard sizes can rather easily be adjusted to fit the press environment in shop / laboratory. In some cases, though, it might not be possible to apply one of the standard sizes and a customer specific system design would be required.

During the engineering phase of the tooling project, we consider the potential customer value in applying the STRECON cooling system. This cooling system is made of two thin plates that are mounted on each side of the STRECON container and direct the cooling water directly to the carbide insert through dedicated water channels. The STRECON cooling system is water proof up to some 8-10 bars and is very reliable.
