Anvil Housing and Cooling

STRECON designs and manufactures housings for carbide anvils. The system is built up and surrounds the anvil support cylinder. More specifically, the anvil housing with integrated anvil cooling is made of the following key elements:

• Anvil ring housing made of a standard tool steel material
• Pre-stressing container with the carbide anvil built into the ring housing
• Ring housing is built around the anvil support cylinder
• Indirect anvil cooling through water channels and integrated into the ring housing
• The anvil housing is on the outside integrated with the alignment system

Ideally, the anvil housing also includes the design and delivery of the anvil support cylinder and, if beneficial for the operation of the HPS system, the pneumatic alignment system.
